Horefto
One of the most beautiful beaches in Pelion, just two steps away from our hotel!
Horefto is the most beautiful and historical beach in Pelion.
According to the Greek mythology the further region of Pelion would be the summer residence of the Olympian Gods and the homeland of the Centaurs.
The coasts of Pelion is where Peleus fell in love and married mythical Nereid Thetis who was thought to have been living in Pelion as well.
According to modern history, Horefto was where the well-known ships of Zagora that crossed the Mediterranean set off to carry the local products to the ports of Europe, Constantinople and Smyrna.
Nowadays, Horefto has evolved into a well-organized beach that feasts many tourists every summer thanks to its natural beauty and the well developed touristic facilities.
Some of the main characteristics of the beach, that make it quite popular to our tourists, are: the fine sand, the clear, crystal blue water, its length of 2 km and the serenity of the sea during the summer period.

Agioi Saranta Beach Pelion
Agioi Saranta Beach in Pelion is in the South of Horefto and within a 15-minute walking distance. Passing by the harbour, follow the coastal path to the golden sandy beach with the amazing high rock called “Calogeros” (monk) where the boldest ones dive from into the Aegean.
A small taverna, the popular local Beach Bar, the lounge chairs and the umbrellas in the southern side of the beach will be waiting for you. It is also accessible by car. We recommend you visit it.
Plaka Beach Pelion
Plaka Pelion is a small beach in east Pelion in the north of Horefto not far from our hotel.
The rich plantation reaching even the sea is its basic feature.
During the summer Plaka is full of visitors searching to swim in its crystal clear blue water.

Agios Ioannis Pelion
The red roofs, the blue of the Aegean Sea and the green of Pelion make up colorful sceneries.
